The Bell at Yarpole, a community owned and managed pub, is looking for an experienced Bar person. This position may well lead to a more senior role.
Having a good knowledge of beers and spirits, stock rotation and line cleaning are all very desirable. Training in cellar management would be ideal.
The position is between 30 to 40 hours per week; spread over 5 days and would include weekends.
The pub is currently staffed using a mixture of paid staff and volunteers. You would need to work with and manage volunteers. You would report to the management committee. However, the most important quality is enthusiasm and passion to integrate in the local community and enjoy bringing the vision of what makes the Community Pub special to its customers.
You will need to have your own transport due to the location of Yarpole, which is midway between Leominster and Ludlow.
